2009: Coolroom and Freezer Facility.
Our scope of works included the design, supply and installation of the entire refrigeration system to meet the agreed heat loads.
We designed the system to run on R404 refrigerant servicing coolrooms, load out area and freezer. Our design is based on a modern day supermarket system with the capability of servicing several different areas at different load and temperature conditions.
The different areas have an individual piping system that can be isolated at the main compressor rack. The option to use variable speed drives on the main compressors and fan in the open area allows for ease of starting and has power consumption advantages. Also the condenser has variable speed fans as standard.
The main control panel is fitted with the latest touch screen controller and plant supervision system which is interlinked to the web for easy access for temperature monitoring. The alarm and control system is designed to work with AQIS and HACCP standards. In the event of a refrigeration alarm, sms messages are forwarded to mobile phones or to a security system.
