This plant was designed by Minus40 Consultants for AAA, which is a subsidiary of Toyota Australia.

It is capable of cooling a vehicle running on a dyno at 120km/h down to a temperature of -20°C.

The system uses a single screw compressor with a 400Hp drive motor.

A variable speed drive regulates ammonia and glycol temperatures to provide a total cooling capacity of 800kW.
